With its 20 foot barrel-vaulted ceiling, it is renowned for the crisp bone chilling acoustics. Spill out into the courtyard & gather with conviviality round the bonfire and under the arcaded balcony with friends old and new. Join local oil painting artist David Stier for a plein air workshop. Explore prismatic vs. earth color palettes, necessary outdoor painting tools, sketching for composition, and finding subjects that inspire you—with plenty of time for feedback and conversation along the way. Open to all levels. Acrylic and watercolor paints may also be used.

This master class teaches basic modeling and mold making techniques using a combination of clay and plaster. During this four week course you will learn how to create a tile model using a design of your choice and then produce production molds. Master craftsman Tim Carder first learned various mold making techniques in Stoke-on-Trent. He designed and modeled many decorative pieces of china giftware at Lenox China. He currently resides in New Hope.

A Thanksgiving Eve Celebration at TileWorks. We give thanks to another successful year of curated music from bluegrass lover and concert producer Peter Wroblewski. This year is TileWorks third year hosting the party and Peter’s 45th year arranging it. It is an evening of world class music, camaraderie, storytelling and friendship. TileWorks extended family and friends will gather in the big room and in the courtyard. There will be live music and a bonfire, cider and craft beer, and homemade turkey chili and fixins’. Feel free to bring a side dish or a desert to share. Come meet with old friends and make new ones. All proceeds support music at TileWorks.

Make your own traditional Pennsylvania Redware ornaments. This class is open to all ages and all skill levels. Using the traditional Sgraffito technique, participants will etch their unique designs through a thin veneer of clay slip revealing the red earthenware clay below. TileWorks team members will provide the pre-cut ornaments coated with slip , ready for you to personalize. Participants will make 5 unique Redware ornaments.
